Fittingly located before the gates of Chion-ji Temple, Taikyourou evokes vestiges of the past. Its design incorporates the serene, perfectly flat (mattaira) character which is characteristic of Amanohashidate. True to its name as a long-established inn, the exterior preserves a traditional charm.
