  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Standard check-in time is from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you expect to arrive after 6:00 p.m., please be sure to notify us. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. at the latest. We can store luggage and cars before check-in, so please feel free to ask.

  • Can I use credit cards?

    Yes, major credit cards and electronic payment methods are accepted.

  • When do cancellation fees start to apply?

    Cancellation fees apply starting from five days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

    - No-show without notice: 100% of accommodation fee
    - Cancellation on day of arrival: 100% of accommodation fee
    - Cancellation one day prior: 80% of accommodation fee
    - Cancellation two days prior: 80% of accommodation fee
    - Cancellation three days prior: 50% of accommodation fee
    - Cancellation four days prior: 30% of accommodation fee
    - Cancellation five days prior: 30% of accommodation fee
    If your plans change, please contact us as early as possible.

  • What are your reservation hours?

    Reservations can be made by phone from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Online reservations are accepted 24 hours a day.
    *Note: In the rare event that we are fully booked, we may be unable to accept your reservation. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Is it okay to stay with small children?

    Absolutely! Children are always welcome. However, we kindly ask for your consideration towards other guests staying at the inn. While we provide items like baby chairs and tableware, please feel free to bring any personal favorites your child might have.

  • After booking, will I receive confirmation materials by mail? Also, is a deposit required?

    We mail brochures and other information only upon request. No deposit is required.

  • Is there parking available?

    Our inn is located right at the entrance to Amanohashidate and does not have parking on the premises. Please come to the front of our inn first. We have parking vouchers available and will direct you to the parking lot at our sister inns, Monjuso or Shoro-tei (approx. two-minute walk). Parking is free of charge.

  • How do I get there from the nearest station?

    Our inn is about a three-minute walk from the nearest station, Amanohashidate Station. Exit Amanohashidate Station and turn right. Walk for about one minute to a traffic signal at a three-way intersection. Turn left there onto the stone-paved Chion-ji Monzen-dori street. Head towards the main temple gate (Sanmon), and you'll find our inn on the corner lot to your right.

  • Does it snow often around the inn?

    Snow can accumulate during the winter season. Also, tire regulations may be in effect or snow may accumulate on roads en route. Therefore, we strongly recommend equipping snow tires (studless tires) if visiting in winter. Ultimately, weather conditions are unpredictable until the actual time, so please check the forecast in advance. We also have umbrellas and rain boots available for sightseeing. However, please note that sizes and quantities of rain boots are limited.

  • Is there an outdoor bath (rotenburo)?

    Yes, the men's bath area includes an outdoor bath along the Amanohashidate canal, overlooking Amanohashidate and the Kaisenkyo Bridge. Unfortunately, due to site constraints, there is no outdoor bath in the women's bath area. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Are there private-use baths available?

    Unfortunately, we do not have private-use baths.

  • What are the bath usage hours and available amenities?

    The hot spring baths are open from check-in until 11:00 p.m., and from 5:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
    Bath Amenities (Common Area)
    Shampoo, Conditioner, Body soap, Hand towels, Bath towels, and Hair dryers are provided in the bath areas. Specific Amenities:
    Women's Bath: Brush, Cotton swabs, Hair styling water, Skin lotion, Emulsion, Facial cleanser / Makeup remover, Shower cap, Baby chair
    Men's Bath: Brush, Cotton swabs, Hair styling water, Facial cleanser / Makeup remover, Razors
    * Hand towels, bath towels, and brushes are provided in your room. Please bring these with you when using the baths.

  • Where are meals served, and what are the start times?

    Both dinner and breakfast are served in our dining areas (Azo or Ni no Kura). Standard dinner start times are 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., or 7:00 p.m. Standard breakfast start times are 7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., or 8:30 a.m. We will confirm your preferred times during check-in. If you expect to arrive late, please contact us in advance.

  • Do you serve lunch?

    Yes, we are open for lunch service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Lunch hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We may occasionally be closed for lunch, so we recommend inquiring in advance if possible.

  • What facilities and amenities are in the guest rooms?

  • What if I have food allergies?

    Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please understand that it may be difficult to accommodate requests made on the day of arrival.

  • Children's Meals

    Dinner
    For elementary school children (ages six to twelve), please choose when booking whether they will have the standard kaiseki course (similar to adults) or the children's meal. The children's meal is provided for younger children (preschoolers) whose booking includes meals.
    Children's Meal Example: Pilaf, Fried shrimp, Fried chicken (karaage), Hamburger steak, French fries, Salad, Steamed egg custard (chawanmushi), Noodles, Dessert
    Breakfast
    The breakfast menu for children consists of items such as Bacon and eggs, Sausage, Cold tofu (hiyayakko), Miso soup with asari clams, and Rice. Please note that contents may vary slightly depending on the day.

  • Is internet available in the inn?

    Yes, Wi-Fi (Wireless LAN) is available throughout the inn.

  • Is the inn barrier-free accessible?

    We apologize, but the building is not fully barrier-free accessible. It is a three-story building. Guest rooms start on the second floor, and all access to upper floors is by stairs only. Handrails are provided on the stairs, but there is no elevator. The front desk, dining areas, and public baths are located on the first floor. For guests who prefer a lower floor, we can arrange a room on the second floor; please mention this when booking.
    (However, please note that room assignment is subject to availability based on room type and booking status, and requests may not always be possible).

  • Smoking Policy

    Guest rooms, dining areas, and other public spaces are all non-smoking.
    A designated smoking area is provided within the inn. Guests who wish to smoke (including e-cigarettes and similar devices) are kindly requested to use this designated area.
    Smoking Area Hours: 2:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., 6:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

  • Can you explain the rates for children?

    The Children's Rate applies to elementary school students (typically ages six to twelve). Guests of junior high school age and older are charged the adult rate. Children aged one or older but not yet in elementary school are classified as Preschoolers. A facility usage fee of ¥2,200 applies for preschoolers (this does not include futon or meals). Additional charges apply if required: Futon for preschoolers: +¥2,200 Meals for preschoolers (breakfast & children's dinner): +¥2,970 Child's yukata: +¥1,100 There is no facility usage fee for children under one year old.

  • Is there a convenience store nearby?

    Yes, there is a convenience store about a one-minute walk away. However, please note it is not open 24 hours a day, year-round. If you have trouble finding it, please feel free to ask our staff.

  • Are there vending machines inside the inn?

    We apologize, but there are no vending machines within the inn. Beverages are available for purchase in our shop. Alternatively, there are vending machines located near the inn.

  • Can you arrange a cake for a celebration?

    Yes, if you contact us in advance, we can arrange a whole cake for celebrations (starting from ¥2,500). We can also include a message, so please let us know when you contact us.

  • Is there a swimming beach nearby?

    Yes, Amanohashidate Swimming Beach is about a two-minute walk from our inn. It's close enough that you can change into your swimsuit in your room before heading over. Conveniently, you can also head straight to our public baths after swimming.

  • Are there charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs)?

    Yes, two Rapid Charging Stations are installed in Parking Lot 2 at our sister inn, Monjuso. These are available for guest use, but please inform us in advance if you plan to use them.
